Destination and Objective

Sport Event Management Finland is an operational advocacy unit for sport which seeks, manages, coordinates, markets and examines the effectiveness of events.

Main goal

Our vision is to make Finland an ideal host for major international sporting events. We want to show Finland’s opportunities to produce, organize and host sporting events regardless of the sport or the season. We want to bring together event rights holders, host cities, sports federations and operators in the event industry.

The aim is also to act as a forum for co-operation in development activities in the field and as an engine for various business development projects and funding applications.

In cooperation

SEMF cooperates with Ministry of Education and Culture, Finnish sport event host cities, the Olympic Committee, and Sport Federations and Institutes.
